This cozy room is ideal if you want to live in a convenient but quiet location, or if you are just moving to LA.
The earliest move-in date is 8/9. Monthly rent is $1150. Utility (electricity, internet, gas) is about 30 to 35 bucks a month. The room can come fully or partially furnished for a one-time payment. Move-in payment to the landlord is prorated first month ($917 if you move in 8/9) + last month ($1150) + security ($500) = $2567.
Pets OK upon landlord approval.
The room is 14' by 9.5' plus a big closet and entirely carpeted. The window faces west so it won't be too hot in the summer. You'll have a nice VIEW of the pine trees and squirrels. There's a 40" Sony TV mounted on the wall and you can connect it to a computer. The room can come furnished with a queen-sized bed, a memory-foam mattress, a nightstand, a desk, a chair and a bookshelf (every piece is in good condition).
It's a 3 bed, 2.5 bath, 1570 sqft condo. You'll share a bathroom with a roommate. The shared bathroom has a tub/shower with INCREDIBLE water pressure. The open kitchen features STAINLESS STEEL appliances including a large fridge and a dishwasher. The sizable living room comes with gorgeous hardwood floor, a TV and a fireplace. GE WASHER & DRYER IN UNIT. CENTRAL A/C & FAN. There is a ton of STORAGE SPACE in literally every room. The balcony can easily fit a three-piece patio set.
**ROOMMATES & LANDLORD**
You'll have three roommates. Everybody is in their 20's and very respectful. The smallest bedroom belongs to a guy who travels for work so you'll have the "shared" bathroom to yourself most of the time. A very quiet couple from Canada live in the master bedroom and you won't see them a lot either.
We rent this unit directly from the landlord (that's why the rent is SO LOW). She and her husband are extremely nice and responsive.
It's a four-story condo building constructed in 2009. The garage has two tandem spaces for each unit and extra guest parking spaces. Trash chute is on each floor. It's a very SAFE building mostly occupied by families and seniors. There's an active board of homeowners who take good care of the building.
Pico-Robertson is conveniently located in Central LA with quick access to Beverly Hills, Culver City, Century City, West Hollywood, etc. The beach is just 8 miles away. Within walking distance, there are a lot of good restaurants, grocery stores, a Starbucks, a Walgreens, La Cienega Park, banks, dry cleaners, and a UPS store. It's very SAFE around here and people walk on the streets late at night all the time.
