Preferred room and roommate description
This is a private basement apartment with its own bathroom and lots of storage. Storage includes a large bedroom closet, linen closet, and hall closet. However you also have access to all the common areas like the kitchen, den, living room, office, guest room and awesome back yard. Parking is never a problem even when I have get-togethers.
I am laid back, responsible, and tidy. I teach art at a nearby school and I am taking night classes to finish up my Masters degree. My house is just too big and expensive for just me to live in and it would be great to get another fun girl living in here.
I have two de-clawed cats who are also tidy and very loving. I keep up after them and all their stuff goes in the utility room out of site where they have a swinging cat door to go in and out of.
There is a den and a living room, so if you have your own furniture that you'd like to keep it could certainly go in the den.
All bedrooms have new wall paint and new flooring treatments.
I just had the living room and dining room hardwood floors refinished and they are gorgeous. The house is cute and cozy and lots of things are remodeled and brand new. All the kitchen appliances are brand new and the deck just got a great facelift and outdoor furniture. There is never a good stopping point when it comes to remodeling so it will just keep getting more updated all the time.
Rent is $450 with us splitting gas and electric bills or I would save you a lot of money and say $500 with all utilities included. I like that that allows us both to plan and budget accordingly with a predictable amount each month. Utilities include cable television and wireless cable internet, nice perk!
I look forward to meeting some nice people through this search and hopefully finding the perfect roommate for the house.
