Preferred room and roommate description

I will be visiting seattle for two months (from 1 November to 2 January). I've benn in Toronto for 4 months taking an English course and now I want to visit my friend in Seattle so I need a place to stay. I finished my mayor in Telecommunication Engineering in Venezuela just a few weeks before coming to Canada and I am planning to do some volunteer work while I am in Seattle. I would like the room to be located close to Capitol Hill and I need access to kitchen, laundry and bathroom as well. I need at least a bed in the room, it would be nice two have a queen size or something big since my girlfriend may stay overnights but is not mandatory. I lived 5 years in Caracas during my university studies in a shared apartment and I've had no problem at all so far during this 4 months in Toronto, so that's the only reference I can provide.
