Preferred room and roommate description

Hi,

I am a 21-year-old non-smoking female who is looking for a room/roommate situation for myself and my small dog. I am in Maine right now, but am looking to move to SD around Nov. 1. Obviously, this means I wouldn't be able to meet my potential housemates or see their house before I move out there. For this reason, I would want to speak to you on the phone to make sure our personalities match up okay and I would also like to see pictures of any rooms/houses before I commit to anything. I am looking to move in on $500. This would include EVERYTHING.

About me:

I am responsible and hard-working. I have been on my own for three years now and can have my last two landlords vouch that I have kept my leases and paid my rent on time every month. I have just finished a four month cross-country trip. I gave up my last apartment and sold all my belongings to take this trip, so one of my goals was to find a new place to live. I fell in love with San Diego. I enjoy travelling, taking my dog on long walks, the beach, and spending time with friends. I am very open-minded and okay with living with all different kinds of people. Though I will not have a job when I get out to SD, I will have enough money to pay rent for a couple months without one and will relentlessly begin my job search the day I get out there. I have experience working in many different fields (I have been working since age 14) and am open to taking just about any job.

About my dog:

Buster is a two-year-old mutt I adopted over a year ago from a rescue league. He may be something like a chihuahua-pomeranian-corgi mix. He is housebroken and loves attention. He also likes to play with other dogs of all sizes. He's been around cats before as well and tends to ignore them. He's also very good with children.
