Preferred room and roommate description

I am looking for a roommate at my house in Pleasanton. My roommate flaked on me. There is a room currently available. Read the ad thoroughly and then decide if you’d like to view.

The bedroom is large enough (11'3"X10'6" plus closet) for a queen mattress and furniture like dresser/nightstand/chair with a closet and window. A good place to chill out/call home in a good quiet area. There is a bathroom with a shower, bath, toilet and openable skylight immediately across the hall. Rent is $600 plus ½ of utilities per month. Fully refundable deposit required. I take care of garbage, leaving electric, water, and cable internet. I don’t pay for cable tv or a landline. The house is not far from the Santa Rita and Valley intersection, in the center of Pleasanton. Not far from Downtown, local parks, Stanley Ave. towards Livermore and easy 580 access. It's located in a nice, quiet, neighborhood with grocery/convenience stores within walking distance.

Kitchen has glasstop electric range/oven, stainless fridge/freezer, microwave (never use it), and stainless dishwasher. There is also a garage with little space left, some storage shelving available. Washer and Dryer is in garage. The back patio is kind of like a box, two shared property lines (walls) make the back corner. It got way overgrown with weeds and I ripped it all up, now its just patio and rectangular plots of dirt (ready for gardening?). The living room is pretty much full of furniture including some really comfortable chairs and the usual TV and DVD player and stereo (though I don't pay for cable TV, you're welcome to). I have a dining room table with leaves and extra chairs in the dining room for 4-6.

The whole house was recently redone with hardwood floors, new paint, drapes, new linoleum. Very nice inside. Hopefully I can get more recent pics up soon.

.... Above all else, I need reliability from a roommate and no interruption of my sleep.

My name is Patrick and I’m a 25 year old male. I work in Pleasanton and go to school at Las Positas in Livermore.

What do I expect? Mutual respect between roommates, and respect for the pad. Spill something? Clean it up. Dirty Dishes… you get the picture. There is included maid service every 2 weeks!

I don’t like unreasonable people. I hate high school drama. I’m all for intellectual conversation, however.

No tweaks, junkies, crackheads, drama queens, racists, dealers, drunks, or anybody else who doesn’t have some direction in life or at least some stability in employment/mental health. I’m not going to live in a party house either. I have a few friends over when I have time, we have shindigs, get-togethers or whatever (not crazy, piss-off-the-neighbors loud parties) and cook food, watch movies and the like. It would be nice to room with someone in a similar mindset, but I can get along with most people. I'm just a working college student trying to get somewhere in life.

I'm looking for someone who isn't gonna disappear in a couple months out of nowhere. I'm tired of finding new roommates, I need someone that has their sh*t together.

(Personal crap) I’m currently working in manufacturing/machining, I have 2 A.S. degrees. Interests include cars, driving, racing, documentary film, knowledge, making music, world cuisine, the outdoors, mtn biking, snowboarding.....
