Preferred room and roommate description

I'm from MN and am looking to move to New York City! I have always wanted to move to NY and now is finally the time. I will be finishing the last 2 years of my undergrad degree as well as working. I'm studying to become a special education teacher and hope to find a job working in a hospital as that's what I currently do here in MN. I want to find a quite, clean place to live with people similar to myself. I'm very quiet and will most likely not be home all that much. In my free time I like to go shopping, go to concerts(LOVE hip-hop!) and travel. As far as living situation I wouldn't mind living with more than one other person but I am looking to have my own room so that I can study with minimal distractions. I would love to have my own bathroom but I realize that might be unrealistic, lol! All in all I need a place that I can feel at home in as I'm going to be very far away from what I've known as home my entire life. I'm definitely ready for the adventure though and look forward to hearing from potential roommates :)
