Preferred room and roommate description
I charge a flat rate, $500 for the room, utilities and cable. This roughly translates into 1/3 of the mortgage, utilities, and cable.
Home is in Murray Hill, between Riverside and Avondale, close to all highways. Nice area, close to many great restaurants and shops.
Basically I am looking for a roommate who is financially responsible, cleans up after him or her, and is respectful of my home. Someone with a full time job or in school would be ideal. Gay, straight, gay-friendly, male, female…
I am a very easygoing laid back person, not too much gets on my nerves. I work a 8-5 shift, and attending a Culinary program at night, 4 days a week 6-11. Sometime in there I go to the gym time. So I need someone trustworthy in my house.
So my time at the house will be minimal. I am a single, white, male. 30. Openly gay, though your non-typical gay. I went to college and have worked in my profession since then, going on 9 years now. I don't have too many wild and crazy parties, or am up very late. I don't go threw my roommates things; I respect privacy and what not. I take care of the house, clean on the weekends usually. The yard is small. Obviously since I am going to culinary school, I like to cook. The kitchen is my favorite place to be in. I expect it to be kept clean. I have no problems sharing food I make, household supplies, toiletries, etc. Common curtsies are nice of course.
House is furnished, painted, lightly decorated. Hardwood floors, large living room and kitchen. Exterior has been recently painted. There is a garage in the back; Laundry is back there. There is a washer and dryer in it. Garage is fine for extra storage. The house has Comcast Cable and High Speed Internet. There is no Home Phone currently set up. If this is a problem, just let me know, we can set one up with little problems.
Room for rent is in front of house, shares a bathroom with a guest room.
I have a fixed Himalayan cat. I would prefer no other pets in the house.
