Preferred room and roommate description
Looking for one roommate to share 2 bd/1 bth Duplex in Downtown HB, will be available Dec. 1, possibly a little sooner. Wifi, cable, and all that good stuff is included. Security deposit is $775. Utilities are around $75. I will be showing early/mid November.
The neighborhood
-The best! This is exactly what you would want from a cozy beach town. Walking distance to EVERYTHING, active neighborhood with a lot of young people
The Place
-Upstairs Unit in DUPLEX. Its not like living in an apt. complex where you only have a view of other apartments or have to walk a mile to your car, you are part of the neighborhood.
-2 Bedroom/1 Bath
-Xtra Lrg Kitchen and living area with nice new furniture, Plasma, etc.
-Large windows with tons of natural light and ocean breeze
-Small Patio
-Garage with plenty of storage space and room for one car in driveway
-Bedroom is about 10x11? Would post a picture of your room but my roommate is a slob and doesn't do the room justice...
-New paint throughout (looks kinda ugly in the pics) trust me it is actually really nice... I did it myself :)
-I will have the carpets will be freshly cleaned once my roommie moves out
Me
-Female, 27, full time student at UC Irvine, I bartend in LA and usually stay up there a couple nights a week. I am outgoing and friendly, but also a super relaxed person, so I've been told I'm very easy to be around :) I enjoy cooking, cheap wine, all forms of art (Studio Art major). Not too much of a partier these days, but I definitely like to get out as much as possible when I have a break from school and work. You can also find me geeking out in my room doing homework or on my laptop for hours at a time.

-Male or female ages 23-35. Must have a GOOD job, some sort of life, and not a total homebody. Of course no drama, responsible, CLEAN, respectful, and not necessarily looking for a new best friend. 420 is fine, though I don’t smoke. Doesn't constantly bring the party home, especially during the week. Cigarettes are OK outside if you are clean about it. Please don't make your boyfriend or girlfriend a permanent fixture in our place. Pets can be discussed, but no cats unless declawed or dogs that jump on the couch and chew and piss... unless they're really cute... We would likely have to set up some kind of deposit or you can pay a little extra a month depending on the pet(s). My last roommates cats used my leather and suede couches as their scratching post :(
