The house has central heating and air conditioning, working fireplace, washer/dryer and many open, sunny rooms. With wireless computer access throughout the house and HD cable access. No cable TV, but it is available. Lots of steps involved.
A master bedroom with full bath and walk-in shower is available currently with shared use of general living, dining, kitchen and pantry areas and some storage space for $1,000. Utilities are included in the rent - electricity, gas, water, sewage, bottled water, and computer access..
Parking in inside garage is $50/month additional, but available. Having a car is useful, since the bus line runs at the base of a large hill and the Metro stops are not that close. Orange/Blue about a mile away. Convenient to the Eisenhower Expressway connecting 295 and 395, which gets to many points in the city quickly via local exits. Street/driveway parking is unlimited and free. One housemate takes public year round.
