MY HOME: It's a 2500 sf, one story, 5 bedroom/3 bathrooms, recently remodeled and nicely furnished brick home. Very, very quiet, and very, very clean and low traffic environment.
AMENITIES/ADVANTAGES:No bills (everything is included in the rent), in-house laundry room, endless hot water supply, Reverse Osmosis Filtration System for great tasting drinking water, Whole-House Water Filtering & Water Softener System, True HEPA Air Purifiers and Ionizers throughout the house, very clean and quiet place (instead of a noisy and messy party house), drug free and smoke free, fully furnished and well equipped home (all you need is your clothes and a TV for your room).
OCCUPANTS: A Public Relations company employee, a Geoscientist, a foreign student, and a Massage Therapist (considering becoming a School Teacher) living here, all males. However, the house feels like "a Church on Mondays" (extremely quiet, peaceful and seemingly empty of parishioners). Other rooms may become available as roommates' needs change, i.e. school, internship, job transfer, relationships, marriage, etc.). We are all very clean, very quiet and addiction free, and I prefer to keep it that way.
LOCATION: North of the Heights, next to Garden Oaks, near the intersection of Ella Blvd and W 43rd St. Just a few blocks outside the 610 N Loop with quick and easy access to 610, I-45, I-59, 290 and I-10. NEIGHBORHOOD: Well established, residential, beautiful, super safe, lots of trees, with well maintained front yards and homes, quiet, secluded (no through-traffic), birds chirping, squirrels playing, neighbors waving, and happy dogs being walked. There is a 24-hour supermarket (Signature Kroger), 3 banks, 3 gas stations, Starbucks, Wine Bar, Bally Total Fitness, YMCA, GNC, Blockbuster, Churches of various denominations, etc., all within several blocks from the neighborhood.
LOOKING FOR: A roommate that’s completely housebroken and picks-up and cleans after himself as he goes along. Clean, quiet, respectful, and addiction free are at the top of the list. And, for the love of all that is Holy, must chew food with mouth closed (seriously!). Not too comfortable with people that are into the habit of bringing home random hook-ups and other sketchy strangers. Need to be very dog-friendly (I have a quiet, well behaved, 10 pound mini-dachshund). No additional pets, sorry.
