Preferred room and roommate description
I am offering a fully furnished bedroom (11' x 13') and bath, and the run of the rest of the place. The house has just been redone with new carpet and paint, and a renovated kitchen and laundry. The brick house is quiet, has a wood burning fireplace in the living room, which also has a 60" HDTV for sports or movie watching - and I also have a Bowflex xtreme which you are welcome to use. The large rear yard is enclosed, and your bedroom overlooks the yard.
The house is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood, and is in walking distance of a city park and golf course. The city bus (AR6) goes by the front door to downtown or Regency Mall. There is plenty of off-street parking.
I am an older guy who has returned to school to learn about health care. I grew up in New York City, so have that Northern social liberal viewpoint. I am college educated, and worked for many years in the architectural field until the economic downturn. I am NOT looking for a relationship, just for someone to help with the bills. Therefore I am friendly, but respect you and your privacy.
You are honest, not a slob or lush, don't have a live-in lover, or party at home to all hours. I have been around the block a few times, so I know the signs... Oh, and you have to like cats... I am the live-in agent for several of them (it's a long story) - they are flixed, clean and (when they get to know you) very friendly.
I would like to ask for rent of $500 to $600 a month, including utilities (figure abour $150 each, including satellite TV). If the utilities go way up, we can work it out... If you're still reading this, please contact me. We can meet at some neutral place, talk a bit, and then I'll take you on a tour of the digs...
