Preferred room and roommate description

Hey hey, I'm Samantha. I am looking for a place near West Town, as I work full-time at a law firm in the area. I won't be ready to move in until mid November or so, but I figured I'd start looking now.

I recently graduated college, and am now preparing for law school. I've been accepted to the University of Chicago, but will not begin until next fall. I'm very new to Chicago (moved from Montana), and would enjoy someone who's excited about everything Chicago has to offer. I'm still a little awkward in the city, coming from Montana and all :p. I'm a very open-minded person, and very accepting of nearly all things. I do try to be very professional, however. I'm not a partier, but I am only 22, so I do like to go out on occassion. I don't have more than 2 friends in Chicago at this point, so don't worry about me bringing people over constantly. Expect the same when I do have more friends :) I like to keep things tidy, but I'm not compulsive about it whatsoever. Call me... normal??

What I'm looking for in a place: I have no furniture, so a furnished room would be ideal. If not, it's all good. I have a job, I can buy furniture. I don't mind sharing a bathroom, but who doesn't like their own? I do, perhaps a little more than others. I don't mind pets at all, and would like someone open to the possibility of me getting a dog. I've wanted to get one for a long time, now; but if not, I understand. I sold my car prior to moving to the city, so I need to be in a place close to public transportation, easy access to downtown, etc. I am a smoker..... this may or may not be an issue. I can always take it outside, and have had to do so more often than not in the past. I'm trying to quit, however. I am a drinker, but not an alcoholic. I like to have a glass of wine or a shot of vodka every now and then. The vodka habit I picked up from living in Moscow for a year during college lol. I don't get crazy, so never fear. It's just fun.
