Preferred room and roommate description

I have a great apartment a five- to six-minute walk from the Porter Square T stop and all that goes with it: the 24-hour Shaw's supermarket, 24-hour CVS/Pharmacy, 24-hour "gourmet" deli, Anna's Taqueria, Christopher's Restaurant, Toad bar and nightclub, Zing! pizza, Porter Square Books and coffee shop, Emack & Bolio's Ice Cream, Dunkin' Donuts and all the other services, gyms and food options of Porter Square. It also puts you extremely close to Massachusetts Avenue, two great cafes and a great laundromat and close to Harvard University, Davis Square, Petsi Pies and other good food and the road to Inman Square. In short, it's a great location, especially for a Harvard University or Lesley Univerity student, faculty or staff. There's always on-street parking available, for those with cars.

The apartment is also great: on the ground floor for an easy move-in, with hardwood floors and a back deck. There are coin-operated washers and dryers in the basement. Heat and hot water are included in the cost of rent! The only utility we have to deal with is electricity. The apartment is basically furnished, but the available room isn't. It's small, about 11x11, with a closet. It opens onto the living room, far from the other bedroom. If you want me to get rid of furniture to make room for your stuff, I can almost certainly do that.

I'm a white, male journalist/entrepreneur (who may be out of the apartment, or at least in and out, a lot) with a great, older cat. He'd be willing to chill with a cat of yours, I expect, and I'm pretty chill myself. I am open to living with people of any demographic. I don't drink, smoke or use drugs, but I'm okay with moderate use. In fact, I'm all-around pretty tolerant. I'm fairly quiet, but open to hanging out. And I'm mostly vegetarian and am willing to be completely vegetarian if that will make a potential roommate more comfortable. Last DVD I bought: Season two of "Flight of the Conchords." Last CD I bought: The Gossip's "Music for Men."
