SINGLE FAMILY 4 BEDROOM HOUSE TO BE SHARED WITH OWNER, 3 FEMALE ROOMMATES.
ADVANTAGES ABOUT THE HOUSE:
1- 15 minutes L train ride to 1st. ave. in Manhattan from the DeKalb stop.

THE HOUSE:
It is located in Bushwick. It's a neighborhood that's one of the closest to Manhattan and the Williamsburgh neighborhood where there are lots of restaurants and bars and nightlife activities.
It is a small brick facade row house attached building with a front driveway, a deck and a backyard.
The owner occupant: He is an Industrial/Furniture Designer and a Contemporary Artist.
CONDITIONS:
A minimum living commitment of 3-6 months is required plus first month’s rent and one month's security deposit.
It is a semi-furnished house. Your room will be unfurnished. The living room, Dining room and kitchen are pre-furnished by owner. You are free to furnish the individual rooms to your taste. However, unless you have small kitchen appliances, no personal furnitures are allowed in the common living areas. Kitchen extras such as the toaster and microwave oven will be replaced by tenants if broken or worn out due to usage.
It will be an open and clutter free space with occasional hanging artworks. Owner has already made the furniture choices for the common areas.
Those with minimal belongings are preferred. Your room closet and shared hallway closet will be your only storage space. This it'll be plenty of space for someone with normal belongings.
PREFERRED HOUSEMATES:
If you are willing and able to follow the house rules, fully professionally employed in order to meet the the rent by the 1st of the month, a relatively quiet, detailed, unspoiled and conscientious person who cleans quickly after yourself in consideration to your fellow housemates, mature, respectful, independent and aware of roommate boundaries, able to, and able to keep romantic relationship involvements coming from outside of the house cast (That's to say, no sexual trysts, hook-ups and drama amongst the crew within the house. You are willing to share overall cleaning and general maintenance responsibilities on a consistent basis, able to keep automatic habits that may be annoying to fellow roommates within your private space, open-minded and yet still have some generally shared ethical codes, you may be one of the four housemates.
I’ve had issues in the past with a few people who came in enthusiastically, followed the house rules for a month or two, then suddenly become disengaged and removed from our house rules and agreements. In other words, we'd prefer that no "Jekyll and Hyde" personalities apply.
Non-smokers only-
To be fair to other roommates, no couples, people with live-in girlfriends/boyfriends, children, permanent guests and pets please. Also, no couch guests; your guest is for your room only.
ARRANGEMENTS-
Kitchen must be kept clean specially if many or all of the four of you will be cooking. You can bring your own kitchenware or share these tools in an arrangement with the other roommates. Ocasionally, I may have a dinner party in the dining area. Otherwise, it'll primarily be for the four roommates to share.
These arrangements can be discussed amongst us.
There are 2.5 bathrooms in the house. I'll be in the basement space with one bathroom with a shower stall.
The driveway is for owner’s use only.
The deck and backyard is for all of us to party, lounge, barbecue and interact with friends during the warm seasons...or cold season if you like.
I am sure there'll be additional questions when we meet.
I am asking that each roommate sign a written agreement to stay for a minimum of six months or will otherwise lose the one month's deposit in the case of an earlier departure.
