IN-LAW SUITE: unfurnished with it's own entrance and small porch in Sidney, ME. Rent can be paid weekly or monthly depending on length of stay. 1st week's rent and $100 security deposit ($200 total) necessary to move in. Smoking outside only, alcohol is fine, NO drugs. Quiet, environmental, drama free, clean, responsible household. I cook and bake most things from scratch. I prefer a naturally peaceful approach to country living and am seeking a housemate with similar respects. Possibly willing to exchange help w/ house or yard projects for rent infrequently. I have 3 cats, fyi, that will be prohibited from your space(s) and are outside most of the time.
LOCATION: 14 min from University of Maine at Augusta & Augusta Civic Center, 17 from Waterville, 7 min from closest turnpike exit. A mile from Annie's Variety and D&D Disc Golf Course, 5 mins from several swimming holes. Dirt driveway off a dirt road surrounded by forest, sled trails, and horses.
AMENITIES: parking, dart board, pong table, horse shoe pits, bonfire pit, disc golf basket, washer & dryer, clothes line, hammock. Large space for a garden if you'd like to grow veggies. Tenants have free range of the house, yard, and garage. 4 BR country style home, sun room, mud room, kitchen w/ dining area, sunken living room with wood stove, 1 washroom w/ shower, natural landscaping, ancient rockwall, 9 parking spots. Detached garage has a yard tool shed and wood stove.
UTILITIES INCLUDED: heat, hot water, wifi, snow & trash removal, electric
ELIGIBILITY: no kids or couples, only caged and quiet pets accepted. Must be clean, organized, honest, quiet, trustworthy, honorable, willing to recycle, compost, and help with chores. Able to be consistently on time rent and financially stable. Has never been evicted. References and financial stability will be verified.
PHOTOS: 4 are the BR itself, and the last image is the den. There's a stack of stuff infront of them, but there's wall of built in shelves in the den. Tenants like to use this room for closet space and their own living room/media room. The BR has a new door and 3 new windows making it very bright. The BR also has 2 built in shelves above the bed and doorway to the office. It has no closet, but there's plenty of space for bureaus and draws.
