Located on the borders of ASTORIA PARK, ten minutes walking distance to the N and Q train at Ditmars Blvd., fifteen minutes by subway (Lexington Avenue, Manhattan).
The area is multicultural, quiet, safe and features plenty of stores, trendy restaurants, bars, clubs, cafes, banks, gyms and laundromats that are all within walking distance.
The building has a Deli on it's ground level, convenient for last minute purchases.
Security is granted by two entrance doors (street level) and a steel door that leads to the apartment. Special security locks and an intercom system are adding extra safety.
The apartment is being renovated, respectively updated, on a regular basis and features elegant hardwood floors, a nine foot ceiling and oversize windows that allow plenty of light.
A large living room continues into an open kitchen with a bar counter. The kitchen includes the following: refrigerator (water purifying system and ice maker), smart-ship toaster, build-in microwave, brick/convection oven, in-door grill, commercial grade espresso maker, citrus press, blender.
The room is fully furnished including the following: full size bed, white lacquer book shelf, white lacquer wall shelf, industrial chrome shelf, stainless steel desk with lamp and chair, over-sized antique wall mirror, round stainless mirror, art canvas, stainless hamper, 32' SONY TV, Harman Kardon sound system.
A window A/C appliance is being installed during the summer. Bedlinen- and towel service only upon request.
A security deposit (equaling one month rent) is required.
The rent includes the basic utilities such as electricity, gas, water, garbage removal, as well as storage space for luggage.
The apartment is being cleaned weekly (all spaces) at a fee of $50.- per month and tenant.
The monthly expense for unlimited high speed internet access (WiFi) at 50 Mbps, as well as the HDTV cable, is $40.- per tenant.
A monthly electricity surcharge of $35.- per A/C is applicable during the A/C season (May through October). A gas surcharge of $65.- (per room and month) applies to the heating season (November through April).
The following rates apply to short term rentals: Three months and less: $1,095.00 / Two months and less: $1,195.00 / One month and less: $ 475.00 (weekly).
Double occupancies (at $400.00 for the second person/per month) to be discussed on an individual basis).
