Just make sure you're very specific of what you want in a roommate and/or room. Some of my advise is to make sure you are aware of scams. Always check out the place and/or the person before making a final decision; you want to be able to have a safe connection with your roommate. Be honest because lying will always get back to you. Just like in any relationship, never settle for less. Trust your gut instincts. My roommate was the one who found and contacted me.
