"I deactivated my ad because someone who came to know about my rooms thru easyroommate came and personally check out the room. She found it suiting her needs and decided to take it. In return, I gave her a lot of incentives such such lowering the amount of monthly rent by $1/day, requiring only 50% of the regular deposit I normally ask from my renter, and giving her a free 1 week stay. We are both happy and I thank easyroommate for it. Thank you very much."

I am a homeowner and I rent out Shared Rooms and I have been using this website for several months and I am quite pleased with the results compared to other websites out there.
They really attract a very educated type of clientele and you will be very thankful with the results once you sign up with them and post your housing advertisements.

"I just clicked to deactivate my ad. Wanted to say thanks for your very effective service.
I spent $165 on rental ads in the USC (University of Southern CA) Daily Trojan newspaper (my favorite renters over the past 8 years have been USC graduate students). I have gotten 0 responses.to this minute (too many rental options for the economy-driven decreased student numbers).
Upon posting my ad on EasyRoommate.com, I immediately began receiving notification of people interested in renting that fit my ad description. I did my own initial screening of those lists and, over the past 11 days have responded to about 2/3 of those respondents.
A few days ago a potential renter responded who seemed like an excellent fit. About 6 emails later, in which we both asked and answered more detailed questions, this young man sent me the required deposit via PayPal. He arrives in Los Angeles in less than 2 weeks and will move in just after the first of July, when my current renter for that room leaves.
Last year I used 3 online rental services when my Daily Trojan ads weren't getting a response: CraigsList, Roommate.com, and yours.
CraigsList was a disaster; I initilly responded to about 24 "interested" parties who turned out to be phishing, or financial scammers; it was an enlightening, but frustrating education!
This year I placed my ad only on your web site, and have been very pleased with the responses. Thank you for your valuable service to those of us renting rooms in our homes; you make the rental process so much easier."
