My husband and I live in our own apartment. There are a number of 20 something students living in the building. They are American, French, German, and from all over. Looking for a neat and clean roommate in a 3 bedroom apartment.
The room has a twin bed, closet, desk, chair, private phone, wireless internet (secure broadband line) and the room locks. Share the kitchen/common area and bathroom with 2 students/interns. Apartment is non smoking, no candles and no pets.
Rent of $700 includes gas, electric, phone and internet. Need one month security of $700 which is returned when you give back the keys. Rental period is month to month with 30 days notice.
Subway station is 1/2 block away and takes 20 minutes to Union Square. Shops, restaurants and laundry are nearby on 5 Ave and Chinatown is on 8 Ave. Mostly families.
The building is in Brooklyn near the 45 St station on the R line and about 5 miles from the Brooklyn Bridge going South.
