I am a mature professional who enjoys sharing a home with one or more students who appreciate a warmhearted, liberating, well-managed lifestyle. I prefer a home in which we are all encouraged to be unconventional thinkers who explore our options and learn about life outside the box. My ideal roommate(s) is/are honest, gentle, generous, responsible, creative, idealistic, nonjudgmental, and open-minded. I am looking for one to three male students to share a relaxed, good-natured, peaceful home in the nature of an informal fraternity situated in a beautiful, safe neighborhood within walking distance of the lake, the Red Line, buses and several eclectic business areas. Suitable housemates are men of integrity who make studies a priority and strive to develop professional character and qualities while also sharing the fun of exploring Chicago’s best features as a cosmopolitan, nature-enriched city. As an LAS and law alum and continuing social activist, idealist and nature lover, I maintain a peace-dedicated, balanced lifestyle that encourages students to excel in the pursuit of academic achievement and the fulfillment of their dreams of making a difference in this world as insightful, responsible professionals in a free society. Interests in social justice, mental/emotional health, communications, and the arts expressed with uplifting energy are encouraged. A willingness to gain deeper understanding of diverse cultures, lgbt issues and open-minded, freedom-loving, playful lifestyles is a bonus. (I can be flexible about the rent if $500 is to steep for you. I'll cut the rent for someone who considers it a privilege to live in my home and helps it be a pleasant place for both of us to share. I'm a reasonable person, inclined to give a person a break if he truly appreciates the opportunity and makes good use of it to enhance his own happiness and pursue his dreams.)
